Plant Human Resources Manager

A Consumer Goods Manufacturer located North of Tennesee is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager to coordinate all HR, Safety & Compliance and Training & Development activities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating recruiting activities for both salary and hourly personnel
  • Monitoring all local/state governmental and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Representing the company in employment-related claims including EEOC, OSHA, and DOL (Department of Labor)
  • Supporting and representing the company as a union-free environment.
  • Coordinating goal Setting and performance Appraisal policies for salaried and hourly personnel.
  • Assist in hiring needs, employee selection, and training processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline; extensive work experience may be considered in place of education; PHR certification or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 6+ years of Human Resource management and supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in developing and administering recruiting, benefits, compensation, safety, and training programs.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
